Quality

The CWLIDB has always striven to provide the highest level of quality service to all its clients both within the public and private sectors.

The Board works closely with other bodies in Wales such as the Welsh Assembly Government, Natural Resources Wales & the Countryside Council for Wales in order to ensure that the service provided is in accordance with the requirements of the natural environment, stakeholders, land and property owners and conforms to current UK and European legislation.

With this in mind, in 2006 the Board felt that the best way of demonstrating its commitment to providing a first class service was to achieve external accreditation.

Following an assessment by an accredited assessor, Caldicot & Wentlooge Levels IDB has been successful in achieving ISO 9001:2000 Certification. This Internationally recognised prestigious award for quality is an International Standard in use worldwide as the benchmark for Quality.

The award recognises Caldicot & Wentlooge Levels IDB's commitment to an exceptional quality of service. With only around 3% of UK organisations holding this certificate, Caldicot and Wentlooge levels IDB is now at the forefront of quality service and customer care.

Caldicot & Wentlooge Levels IDB is currently working toward implimentation of an Environmental Management System with a view to gaining ISO 14001 Accreditation in the near future.
